When twenty-year-old Aurora Tota unintentionally heals an Artesian spy's injured wrist in the restaurant with her bare hands, she is cornered and taken from her safe and secure country to Artesia, the hostile country next door. In an attempt to escape her abductor and make it back home, she collides with migraine-prone Ro. Being the queen's newest High Advisor for the country, Ro debates killing Aurora there on the spot. After all, the Queen has strict orders to kill all outsiders, and he's never disobeyed one before now.
